Meghan Markle was born 4th of August 1981. After her parents divorced, she continued to live with her mother Doria Ragland, a social worker, and yoga instructor. This famous actress shares a name with the character she starred in the Suits series. In other words, her other name is Rachel Meghan Markle. She graduated from an all-girls catholic school in LA.
Her father Thomas Markle, worked as an Emmy-winning lighting director. He led Meghan to the set several times. Almost every day after school, she would spend time on the set Married with Children. Her stay on that set was by no means in line with the principles she taught in a Catholic school.

According to a MyHeritage report, Meghan is from the same family line as Wiliam Shakespeare. The connection to the British existed long before Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle’s career
After completing a course for calligraphist Markle used her expertise to earn extra money. Before she got the role in Suits Meghan worked as a briefcase girl in Deal or No Deal. She once admitted that she hated the job. Every time during the show she suffered due to uncomfortable and cheap 5 cm heels.
Her task was to wait for someone to pick her number so she could sit down. During the filming of the Suits series, she insisted on wearing her jewelry, including family heirlooms. Several times she wore a ring with a seal on her arm as well as her grandmother’s bracelet. During 2015, she was an ambassador for Reitmans, a Canadian fashion brand. A year later, she launched a collection of dresses.

On one occasion a journalist asked her to choose between two princes. She first replied she don’t know before a reporter encouraged her to answer Harry. Then she answered “Harry”. At that moment, she was not even aware that she would meet Prince Harry a few months later.
Twenty years before she met Prince Harry Meghan visited London. She took a picture with a friend in front of Buckingham Palace. Harry was only 12 at the time.

Serena Wiliams and Priyanka Chopra are also on the list of best friends. Serena and Markle met in 2014 at a charity event. She met Priyanka at Elle’s annual dinner for Women in Television. She and Serena were at the royal wedding along with Amal Clooney, Oprah. Despite Markle TV career, Meghan admits to having a list of favorite series. One of them is Mad Men, Girls, The Newsroom.
